Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. seeks an energetic BSA AML Analyst III for Greenwood Village or Denver, CO. The role ensures due diligence to comply with AML/KYC regulations and provides guidance to other BSA AML Analysts.

Responsibilities include AMS alert clearing, SAR investigations, and other BSA reporting and recordkeeping requirements. The position requires extensive knowledge of BSA/AML, Patriot Act and related regulations, with 2+ years in BSA/Fraud/Audit, and certifications such as CAMS or CFE.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of BSA, US PATRIOT Act, Money Laundering Control Act, OFAC regulations and related enforcement policies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar; experience in banking may substitute for education.
• At least two years of experience within a BSA, Fraud, and/or Audit environment.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CPA, CIA, CRCM, PMP or other related certifications.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to applicable federal and state AML/BSA laws and guidance.
• PerformAMS alert clearing and SAR investigations; analyze data to identify suspicious activity.
• Provide guidance to other BSA AML Analysts and serve as a resource across the bank.
• Assist in audits/exams and remediation of findings; ensure regulatory compliance.
