Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. seeks an energetic BSA AML Analyst III in Scottsdale, AZ to ensure AML/KYC due diligence, lead investigations, and guide other analysts. Responsibilities include SAR investigations, alert clearing, and compliance with regulatory reporting and recordkeeping requirements.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), plus experience in BSA/AML, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Economics or similar; experience may substitute for a degree.
• Two+ years of experience in a BSA, Fraud, and/or Audit environment.
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, AML regulations and related guidance.
• Certification such as CAMS, CFE, CPA, CIA, CRCM, PMP or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and implement federal and state AML/BSA regulations.
• Perform AML/KYC due diligence and investigate suspicious activity.
• Clear AMS alerts and file SARs as required.
• Monitor and report on internal and external audits and regulatory exams.
• Assist across BSA reporting and recordkeeping.
• Mentor midlevel staff and share BSA knowledge across the company.
