Job summary

TeamPeople, a division of System One, seeks a Senior Engineer – Transmission & Distribution Systems to ensure reliable playout, transmission, and signal delivery across broadcast and digital platforms. This hands-on role balances live operational support with long-term workflow optimization across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will work with operations, production, network, and technology teams to deliver consistent content delivery, while driving resilience and continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent with hands-on experience.
• 7+ years in broadcast transmission, playout or signal distribution, including live support.
• Experience with IP-based contribution/distribution and cloud-based playout or distribution platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for Transmission & Distribution Systems and escalate as needed.
• Monitor health checks, respond to incidents, and ensure rapid service restoration during critical times.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Support design and implementation of new delivery platforms including cloud-based playout.
• Promote continuous improvement through documentation and post-incident reviews.
