Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Broadcast Network Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of mission-critical broadcast and production networks supporting global streaming and on-air delivery. You will own both broadcast and production network environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for live video infrastructure.

The role requires 7–10+ years in high-availability networks, hands-on firewall and switching expertise, and familiarity with VMware/AD/Windows Server,

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in high-availability network environments.
• Proven firewall management experience and segmentation skills.
• Strong switching expertise (Juniper, Arista, etc.).
• Experience with VMware, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
• Hybrid cloud exposure (Azure/O365) a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, JNCIP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable network architectures for broadcast and production environments.
• Lead security, segmentation, and zero-trust initiatives across networks.
• Optimize and troubleshoot high-throughput video delivery and time sync (PTP).
• Manage end-to-end network deployments, including physical rack/cabling and logical configs.
• Act as Tier-3 escalation for outages with deep-dive diagnostics.
• Develop SOPs and documentation to support scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on streaming protocols (SRT/RTMP) and workflows.
