Job summary

Tennis Channel is seeking a Senior Broadcast Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Broadcast Operations Center in Santa Monica. You will oversee the daily broadcast of the Tennis Channel linear network, focusing on playlist automation, programming schedules, air server records, and timely ingest/segmentation for playback.

You will monitor on-air signals, ensure closed captioning, work with the signal provider and affiliates, and troubleshoot issues under live

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years broadcast operations experience including HD/SD, ASI, Data IP Transmission, Zoom/Skype, IP video workflows, LIVEU, and the ability to troubleshoot such signal paths.
Must have strong understanding of SDI and digital signal flows.
Familiar with equipment such as Wohler, Imagine Router panels, AVID FastServe, NEXIO, Haivision, Selenio Frame Sync, LiveU, RTS comms, encoding/decoding, Amagi, Asana.

Responsibilities

Monitor the on-air signal and ensure the highest quality delivery of content to viewers.
Schedule on-air content as directed by programming/production departments.
Accurately route and record content to the air server for playback.
Perform thorough sync and checks with onsite personnel prior to live shows and events.
Facilitate accurate insertion of commercial content during live broadcasts and server playback.
Ingest content for air as needed and ensure closed captions are present on outbound feeds.
