Job summary

Vyve Broadband in Wyoming, Ohio, seeks a Broadband Network Technician (BT IV–V) to lead in maintaining and optimizing the broadband network infrastructure. You will perform troubleshooting, mentor junior technicians, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• BT IV certification or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.
• Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of the hybrid fiber-coax network.
• Optimize network performance through node balancing and alignment.
• Monitor and mitigate signal leakage; ensure compliance with regulations.

Skills

Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable

Proficiency with signal meters and spectrum analyzers

Strong understanding of HFC and IP networks

Experience reading system maps and schematics

Education

BT IV certification or equivalent work experience

6+ months as a Broadband Technician III
