Job summary

You will focus on deposits, product deepening, client retention, and growth, while managing risk and leveraging referrals to broaden the client base. The role manages ~100 clients with >$5M annual revenue, offering deposits, cash management, and credit as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and knowledge of business credit underwriting.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate clients’ issues, own problems on clients’ behalf, and follow through with commitments.
• Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
• Ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes and leverage technology to interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain and deepen a portfolio of approximately 100 business clients with revenue >$5M; provide deposit and cash management solutions and manage credit deals up to ~$15M; support branch-based bankers on large deals.
• Deliver customized business banking solutions tailored to clients’ financial needs and circumstances.
• Use knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit and risk management to identify and promote solutions that serve the client and portfolio profitability.
• Conduct in-person/virtual calls with clients and centers of influence to cultivate long-term primary banking relationships.
• Understand owners’ personal financial goals and partner with Branch, Wealth Management and Private Bank to deliver appropriate personal financial solutions.
• Onboard clients using treasury products and ensure end-to-end delivery of accounts and services; follow up to establish digital capabilities.
• Protect the firm by following risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
