Job summary

HNTB in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide project development across complex bridge projects. You will apply advanced engineering methods, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and teaming partners to ensure technical excellence.

The role emphasizes independent technical reviews, proposal support, and maintaining design standards across disciplines. A PE credential and extensive experience are preferred to lead multiple projects and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.
10+ years of relevant experience for Bachelor path, or 9+ for Master, or 8+ with PhD.
Ability to guide proposals, scope implementation, and change management.

Responsibilities

Performs independent technical reviews and provides guidance on complex projects.
Mentors production staff and supports project leadership with expertise.
Assists in marketing, including proposal generation for complex work.
Coordinates technical aspects with client counterparts and partners.
Ensures technical consistency and adheres to design standards across projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
