Job summary

Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) in Florida seeks a Lead/Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and plans production for transportation structures. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relations, and ensure QA across all design phases in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of bridge and transportation project experience, a PE license, and a Master’s degree in structural civil engineering, with strong FDOT guidance knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in bridge design and plans production.
• Proven ability to manage projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO and FDOT guidelines.
• Experience with FDOT/local government bridge projects preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, construction plans, and technical reports coordinating with roadway, geotechnical, and hydraulic disciplines.
• Design transportation projects from preliminary to final design including specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
• Oversee projects through construction and provide post-design support.
• Work with a large team of engineers on projects across Florida.
• Apply AASHTO codes, FDOT guidelines, and structural analysis software.
• Contribute to proposals, client meetings, and identifying new opportunities.
• Fulfill project management responsibilities including procurement, staffing, budgeting, and invoicing.
