Job summary

RS&H, in Jacksonville, seeks a Bridge Area Discipline Lead to guide our Transportation Practice. You will oversee bridge design projects, deliver through construction, mentor engineers, and drive technical pursuits and proposals.

The role requires a PE license in Florida, 12+ years of structural experience, and leadership capability to grow a high-performing team within a dynamic firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; Master’s with structural emphasis preferred.
• Licensed Florida Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain comity elsewhere.
• Extensive experience designing transportation structures including bridges and related works.
• 12+ years of progressive structural engineering design experience; minimum 7 years at senior levels.
• Experience with FDOT projects and leading teams; mentoring staff and pursuing new business.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for bridge projects and deliver through construction.
• Manage and mentor a team of bridge engineers.
• Lead technical pursuits and proposal writing.
• Develop client relationships and participate in BD activities.
