Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Structural (Bridge) Engineering Practice Leader to lead Massachusetts and New England bridge and transportation projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and drive project performance while strengthening client partnerships across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Massachusetts PE license required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience delivering bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering projects for MassDOT, MBTA, Massport, municipalities and other public agencies.
• Experience with design-build delivery and accelerated bridge construction techniques preferred.
• Strong client management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of bridge and transportation projects from concept through construction.
• Serve as technical and strategic leader for bridge projects including new structures, rehabilitations, widenings, and replacements.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and client expectations.
• Mentor engineers and develop future project managers and technical leaders.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development on client strategies and proposals.
• Build and retain a high-performing bridge practice in partnership with Operations and HR.
• Lead cross-functional teams with a culture of collaboration and excellence.
