LVI Associates is seeking a seasoned Bridge Engineering Manager to lead its New York City transportation infrastructure practice. You will oversee bridge and structural design teams, drive project delivery, and contribute to business growth and staff development.

The successful candidate has extensive bridge/transportation experience, excellent client communications, and a PE license, with a track record of leading complex projects and teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive bridge and transportation engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience using industry-standard engineering and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to multiple bridge engineering and structural design teams.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, reports, contracts, and specs for quality and compliance.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate contractor submittals and documentation.
• Act as primary client contact, managing expectations, progress, budgets, and timelines.
• Support proposal preparation and client engagement for new business.
• Represent the firm in technical presentations and industry forums.
• Maintain involvement in professional organizations and associations.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering staff in a collaborative environment.
