Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive bridge and transportation engineering experience.
  • PE license required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Proven leadership of engineering teams.
  • Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience using industry-standard engineering and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to multiple bridge engineering and structural design teams.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Review drawings, reports, contracts, and specs for quality and compliance.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate contractor submittals and documentation.
  • Act as primary client contact, managing expectations, progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Support proposal preparation and client engagement for new business.
  • Represent the firm in technical presentations and industry forums.
  • Maintain involvement in professional organizations and associations.

This leadership role will oversee bridge and structural engineering initiatives, guide multidisciplinary project teams, and play a key role in project delivery, business growth, and staff development. The successful candidate will help drive technical excellence across complex transportation projects while contributing to strategic planning and team expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to multiple bridge engineering and structural design teams.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical reports, contract documents, and specifications for quality and compliance.
  • Direct the development and review of project budgets, schedules, and construction cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and evaluate contractor submittals and construction-phase documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, project progress, budgets, and timelines.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
