Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer / PE in Orlando to lead major bridge and transportation projects with high-level technical and project leadership. Expect ownership potential for the right candidate and opportunities to mentor others while guiding client relationships and business development.

Ideal candidate has 10-15 years in bridge/structural engineering, an active PE, and a track record of leadership and communication excellence within complex projects.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of bridge/structural engineering experience.
• Active PE license.
• Strong bridge design and project leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• FDOT experience highly preferred.
• Interest in taking on greater responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
• Structural analysis, design, calculations, and plan development.
• Project oversight, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Client and agency coordination.
• Technical QA/QC.
• Mentoring and developing engineers.
• Supporting business development and client relationships.
• Contributing to the continued growth of the firm's bridge and structures capabilities.
