Job summary

gpac, in partnership with a successful engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Michigan to lead client engagements, designs, and project management on highway bridge structures. The role offers strong growth potential within a collaborative culture and competitive benefits.

You will manage technical client communication, perform bridge design and inspections, and coordinate budgets and schedules while contributing to construction documents and proposals.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 8+ years of bridge design experience.
• MDOT experience preferred.
• Prior project management experience is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary technical client contact on projects.
• Perform bridge and other structural design engineering, bridge inspections and related assignments.
• Perform analyses and design for highway bridge structures, retaining walls, and related elements.
• Track and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, quantities, and proposals.
