Job summary

gpac partners with a respected Michigan firm to seek a Senior Bridge Engineer for a client-focused team in Farmington Hills. The role leads bridge design projects, manages client relationships, and contributes to proposals and business growth.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, a PE license, 8+ years of bridge design experience, and MDOT exposure. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and Open Roads is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 8+ years of bridge design experience.
• MDOT experience.
• Prior project management experience preferred.
• AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Open Roads experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary technical client contact on projects.
• Perform bridge and other structural design engineering, bridge inspections and other assignments.
• Perform analyses and design required for highway bridge structures, retaining walls, and related elements.
• Track and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, quantities, and proposals.
