Job summary

Parsons seeks a highly skilled Bridge Engineer in Tampa to support complex structural design and delivery. You will analyze designs, prepare calculations and drawings for steel and concrete bridges and contribute to innovative solutions across projects.

Ideal candidates will hold a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, be a Licensed PE, have 8+ years of experience, and FDOT project exposure. This role may involve client coordination and engineering leadership within a Critical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE).
8+ years of experience.
FDOT project experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges, pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges, and cast-in-place flat slabs with guidance as required.
Apply pre-established design templates.
Propose innovative design solutions and prepare engineering reports and contract documents.
Potential to serve as Engineer-of-Record on assigned tasks; manage timely completion of tasks.
Communicate with team, clients, subconsultants and government agencies; present design solutions in meetings.
