Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer to expand our Florida market and support the Bridge Group. The role focuses on designing new bridges and rehabilitation projects, performing inspections, load ratings, and providing technical oversight.

Candidates should have a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET), 16+ years of bridge design, a Florida PE or eligible within six months, and experience with FDOT standards and major concrete/steel bridge systems.

Formación

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 16+ years of bridge design experience.
• P.E. licensed in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience designing major concrete/steel bridges.
• Familiarity with FDOT policies and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Design new bridges and widening/rehabilitation projects.
• Perform evaluation, inspection and load rating of bridges.
• Provide QA/QC reviews and mentoring of staff.
• Develop bridge plans for public sector clients (FDOT and others).
