Job summary

H&H, a nationally recognized infrastructure engineering firm, seeks a Structural Engineer to join our Tampa team. You will work on bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under a senior engineer, preparing plans and construction documents.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 4–8 years of bridge experience, CAD and MS Office fluency, and excellent communication in a cooperative team environment. PE preferred; competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; PE preferred.
• Four to eight years of relevant experience specific to bridge structures (preferred).
• Fluency in CAD and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative team environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for projects including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer.
• Prepare detailed plans and construction documents for the assigned tasks.
• Perform engineering calculations pertaining to the detailed plans and construction documents developed.
• Develop contract specifications and contract bid documents, and technical report writing.
• Travel within the Southeast Region.
• Occasional field site visits and bridge inspections.
