Parsons is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. You will support the design and delivery of complex structural projects and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, subconsultants, and government agencies, with potential to serve as Engineer-of-Record on select tasks. Required are a PE license and a Civil Engineering degree with a focus on structures, along with 8+ years of experience and FDOT project exposure.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 8+ years of bridge engineering experience.
• FDOT project experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare designs, calculations, and drawings for steel, pre-cast, and cast-in-place bridges.
• Apply pre-established design templates to tasks.
• Propose innovative design solutions and ensure timely task completion.
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review.
• Possibly supervise technicians or designers and review their work.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record on assigned tasks when needed.
• Manage multiple tasks with timely delivery.
• Communicate with team, clients, subconsultants, and government agencies.
• Present design solutions in meetings and contribute to external presentations.
• Support marketing by updating resumes and participating in campaigns.
• Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.
• Pursue personal career development and mentor others.
