Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with structural emphasis.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Own base-business accounts is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with RAM Structural System and STAAD.
• Familiarity with ENERCALC and Mathcad.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Experience with renovations/inspections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural design & analysis of building systems.
• Lead projects and manage project teams in Tallahassee.
• Interface with owners, architects, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and QA/QC.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and design markups in AutoCAD/Revit.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed.
