The Bridge Engineer Manager at the New Mexico Department of Transportation oversees bridge and structural design statewide, provides construction technical support for diverse projects, and supervises bridge engineers and technicians within the Design Unit. • PE license in Civil Engineering per NM Board.
• BSCE from an accredited program with focus on structural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Mathcad, Excel and bridge design software.

Responsabilidades

• Determine project scope, plan bridge/structural projects and estimate costs.
• Determine when bridge details and plans are complete and ready for review and distribution.
• Perform miscellaneous bridge/structural tasks as directed by Design Section Manager and State Bridge Engineer.
• Evaluate fabricator shop drawings to ensure they meet contract specs and construction needs.
