Job summary

Quizlet is seeking a strategic leader for a hybrid Brand Social & PR role in San Francisco. You will own content across Quizlet-branded channels—strategy, ideation, creation, posting, community management, and measurement—while also running announcements, media relations, and thought leadership that elevate Quizlet in conversations.

In this role, you will blend brand storytelling with earned media, manage agency partners, and drive a 20% YoY growth in earned coverage.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to create engaging branded social content and drive earned media.
• Strong understanding of media landscape and trends in education and tech.
• Ability to connect content performance to business impact.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own content end-to-end for all Quizlet-branded channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Threads, etc.).
• Build media relationships and manage announcements, pitches, and thought leadership.
• Lead crisis communications and manage agency partners from day one.
• Monitor and engage with communities; surface feedback to product/marketing.
• Measure impact and report on performance; align stories with brand goals.
