Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Associate Brand Manager for Mars Snacking Confectionary in Chicago, IL. This office-based role supports the cell team in building brands/seasons, delivering the value creation plan, and leading cross-functional workstreams.

The role involves analytics, planning, activation, and forecasting for the brand, with opportunities to contribute to brand strategy and marketing activities to achieve sales and penetration targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 3+ years’ Marketing work experience required, preferably within CPG industry.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening) and ability to present to management.
• High interpersonal skills: influencing without authority, conflict resolution, creative problem solving.
• Proven analytic skills: comfortable mining and analyzing data to draw actionable conclusions.
• Proficient in managing complex projects, well organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze brand performance, market trends and provide recommendations to improve plans.
• Influence brand strategy and growth opportunities using data from customers and consumers.
• Monitor advertising and promotions budget and spend.
• Evaluate activities post-launch to extract insights and learnings.
• Execute marketing plans (activation, renovation, innovation) with cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and track growth levers (price-pack, reach+) and forecast demand.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Marketing for key customer calls.
• Participate in forecasting to understand brand and market trends.
