Senior Brand Manager, CVS Media Exchange (CMX)

Are you passionate about bringing to life an innovative brand that drives partnership and engagement? Are you an intrapreneurial leader that knows how to get things done through formal channels as well as relationships with colleagues across a matrixed organization?

If this sounds like you, join us as a Senior Brand Manager, CVS Media Exchange (CMX), the retail media network of CVS Pharmacy. In this role, you'll own the brand vision, positioning, and B2B marketing strategy across the board for the fast-growing retail media platform of the 6th largest company in the U.S. Your aim is to create a clear and differentiated market narrative for our CMX business that drives advertiser partnership and engagement.

Responsibilities

As the voice of CMX in the market, your ability to assess the competitive landscape and advertiser needs (current and future) is paramount to success. We will rely on you to craft CMX into a unique brand with a solidified, differentiated, and consistent industry position and then drive that story through paid, owned, earned channels in concert with our internal creative agency, external PR agency, media agency, and business leadership teams.

In this position, you'll be responsible for strategically deploying content on behalf of our retail media business across paid and owned channels, including website, LinkedIn, sales support collateral, and media campaigns. You'll call the plays and orchestrate cross-team involvement to foster a comprehensive CMX content calendar driven by focused messaging that drives engagement in our products and client solutions for CMX advertisers.

You'll work collaboratively with many teams across the organization. We'll rely on your expertise in digital media and public relations to support our overall business objectives and help us stand out from the competition with integrated marketing efforts.

Lastly, you'll lead brand health tracking and research to guide efforts to understand our position in the market, along with key opportunities to drive our overall narrative with key stakeholders. This includes "closing the loop" on marketing tactics by establishing and reporting on key media KPIs.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience in Marketing/Media/Advertising
  • 5+ years of marketing/brand strategy experience with a foundation of digital media and retail/CPG ecosystem understanding
  • 3+ years of digital product marketing ownership, including examples of driving significant product & partnership growth
  • 3+ years of cross-functional leadership experience
  • 2+ years of digital media or retail media experience, including examples of B2B public relations and paid media campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in product marketing at a digital media vendor or retail media network for 2+ years
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver results
  • Self-motivated, high-capacity individual capable of thriving in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, across diverse audiences
  • Creative problem solver, able to incorporate new learnings and act decisively
  • Familiarity with platforms like Adobe Analytics, Marketo, LinkedIn Business Manager
  • Travel requirement up to 25%
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent (High School Diploma with 4 years of experience)
  • MBA preferred
Pay Range & Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $82,940.00 - $199,144.00. This range depends on experience, education, location, and other factors. The role is eligible for bonuses, incentives, and equity awards.
