Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a seasoned Communications Designer to develop and manage our brand, apply the identity system across internal and external channels, and partner with the communications team on digital, print, and social projects.

The role emphasizes living Nava's values and ensuring consistent on-brand experiences. You will work closely with a frontend designer and printers, shaping annual reports, decks, and branded materials for events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience, with branding, design firm, or ad agency strongly preferred.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems, and concept development.
• Literacy in web-based and print-based design software/processes.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Frontend Designer and printer.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google Drive & Figma.
• Experience with brand strategy and artifacts that communicate brand essence.
• Experience with frontend developers.
• Proven trust and collaboration skills.
• Big-picture thinking with detail focus.
• Excellent remote collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Nava's brand identity system across mediums and drive adoption across the company.
• Manage brand assets and style guides, typography, illustrations, and photography.
• Oversee external brand materials, templates, email signatures, and recruitment materials.
• Lead brand strategy, positioning, audience segmentation, and competitive research.
• Contribute to marketing strategy to raise visibility and preference for Nava.
• Support project work with visual and design needs.
• Maintain Nava's internal brand processes.
• Design annual reports for digital and print, including user research and testing.
