Job summary

Dexian seeks an experienced Branch Operations Specialist/Officer in San Diego to oversee daily branch activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-performing team. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Qualified candidates will have 8+ years in banking, 4+ years of supervisory experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. Notary public certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Eight years of banking experience is required.
• At least four years of supervisory experience.
• At least four years of banking operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Schedule branch staff and ensure adequate coverage.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while supporting performance evaluations.
• Maintain branch security, cash controls, transaction approvals, and audit readiness.
• Review operational reports, account documentation, new account openings, and transaction exceptions.
• Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and resolve escalated customer concerns.
• Support customer retention, relationship management, and branch growth initiatives.
• For the Officer level, drive deposit growth, support business development, and participate in prospecting activities.
• Manage employee schedules, timecards, and daily operational responsibilities.
