Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking a Director, COO and Branch Manager for the HCIB-US Branch Operations leadership. The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day execution, governance, regulatory readiness, resilience and change delivery across branches and provider networks.

The position requires extensive senior leadership experience in banking operations within a regulated financial institution and direct leadership of U.S. branch operations with cross-border governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in banking operations within a regulated financial institution.
• Direct leadership experience with U.S. branch operations of a foreign bank, including cross-border governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic branch operations for the HCIB-US Branch, coordinating with product, operations, technology, risk, regulatory, finance and service-provider teams.
• Establish operating rhythms, governance forums, reporting, action tracking and escalation processes.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new products, services and regulatory requirements; ensure testing and implementation.
• Oversee service delivery from internal and external providers, monitor KPIs and drive remediation actions.
• Coordinate operational resilience activities, including business continuity, incident management and testing.
• Partner with Technology and Change teams to embed operational requirements in strategic initiatives.
