Job summary

Mission Fed is seeking a Senior Assistant Branch Manager in Escondido, CA to lead a team of tellers and USRs, driving sales, service and member experience goals. This role supports the Branch Manager in executing service and sales strategies to meet credit union objectives, and may act in the Branch Manager capacity when required.

The position requires 4+ years in financial services with demonstrated coaching ability and supervisory experience, plus knowledge of lending processes and customer

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required; two years may substitute for each year of education.
• Minimum 4 years in financial services with proactive sales, lending, new accounts, member service, operations, cash management.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, coach, train, evaluate and meet with direct reports to build a high performing sales team.
• Provide real‑time coaching and support to team members to develop skills.
• Lead branch operations and sales activities, including service strategy implementation and cross‑sell promotion.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, risk controls, audits and reporting; manage cash levels and branch safety.
• Support Branch Manager, assist with openings, loan processing, and funding; back‑up as needed.
• Organize community events and business development activities; participate in marketing plans.
