Job summary

Moody's is seeking an AVP Manager for Business Process Management in New York to lead regulatory reporting excellence across the global framework. You will guide process design, controls, and cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Data Owners, and Compliance to enhance and remediate reports in response to evolving regulatory requirements.

The role requires deep expertise in end-to-end reporting, data governance, and Six Sigma principles, with a focus on AI-enabled workflow improvements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related work experience in financial services and/or regulatory reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, PowerPoint and Copilot.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field preferred.
• Data Management background and/or Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end regulatory reporting excellence by leading process design, operational controls, and stakeholder collaboration across Moody's Ratings global reporting framework.
• Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise on end-to-end reporting and global regulatory policies; ensure procedures are followed.
• Partner with Technology, Product Analysts, Data Owners, and Compliance to enhance and design new reports and processes.
• Develop and maintain strong operational controls to safeguard data integrity, improve report accuracy, reduce risk, and support risk assessments.
• Approve process changes, manage new/enhanced requirements, prioritize backlog, and perform UAT and business readiness.
• Address issues or inquiries related to the report portfolio and coordinate with Moody's teams to remediate.
• Understand data lineage, source, quality, and definitions; discuss requirements with stakeholders.
• Define metrics to monitor process performance and data quality; collaborate to create dashboards.
• Seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve controls using Six Sigma tools.
