Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a senior BPM engineer to design and implement BPMN/DMN processes using Camunda 8 for customer support automation and ongoing improvements. You will configure no-code AI prompts and flow schemes for voice bots and LLM classifiers, supporting live automation in production with quick fixes and continuous enhancements.

The role requires hands-on Camunda 7/8 experience, BPMN/DMN expertise, and familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with production BPM engines and end-to-end BPMN/DMN deployment.
• Proven Camunda 7/8 experience in production.
• Expert knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and FEEL.
• Experience with REST API, JSON, and message brokers.
• Understanding and interest in modern AI/LLM solutions for business process integration.
• Ability to gather and clarify technical requirements with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BPMN processes and DMN decision tables in Camunda 8 for customer support automation.
• Configure and maintain logic and prompts in no-code AI platforms and call flow schemes for voice bots and LLM classifiers.
• Support and debug active automation scenarios in Camunda Operate; deliver quick fixes and continual improvements in production.
• Integrate processes with internal/external systems via REST API, JSON, and Kafka.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, technical, and analytics teams.
• Promote adoption of new technologies and AI integrations and foster automation culture.
