Job summary

UST, a digital solutions company, seeks a Senior Camunda Java Engineer to design and optimize BPMN 2.0 processes and DMN decision tables, and to develop robust Java backends and microservices using Spring Boot. You will connect workflows to enterprise systems via REST and messaging queues, debug issues, and produce detailed design documentation.

The candidate should have 10+ years in Java, Camunda, and Kafka, with a strong Cloud/microservices background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C++.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or higher).
• Frameworks: Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Camunda Expertise: Hands-on experience with Camunda Platform 7 or Camunda 8, BPMN 2.0, and DMN.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Good exposure to microservices architecture, cloud technologies
• Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications
• Experience in product development would be a plus
• Experience in eCommerce projects
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design Workflows: Build and optimize process models and decision tables using BPMN 2.0 and DMN
• Backend Development: Develop robust backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• System Integration: Connect workflow engines with enterprise systems via REST APIs, messaging queues, and connectors
• Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
• Producing detailed design documentation.
• Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
• Developing multimedia applications.
• Developing documentation to assist users.
