Qualifications

• Specialized law enforcement experience required: make arrests and exercise judgment in firearms use.
• Ability to analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions.
• Develop and maintain contact with informants network for operations.
• Language: must be proficient in Spanish (speaking and reading).

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Prevent and apprehend unlawful aliens and smugglers near borders.
• Patrol borders and related areas using government assets as assigned.
• Support mission readiness and adhere to DHS/CBP policies.
