U.S. Customs and Border Protection seeks a Border Patrol Agent at GS-13 level committed to protecting America’s borders and enforcing immigration laws.

The position offers a salary range of $109,383 to $142,199 and requires relocation to select duty locations and successful completion of pre-employment steps. Reemployed annuitants may be eligible for a salary-offset waiver; extensive training and on-going duties include patrolling borders by land, water, or air and using a range of government

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must meet age and Selective Service requirements.
• Proficient in Spanish (reading and speaking).
• Must pass background investigation and drug tests.

Responsabilités

• Protect America's borders and enforce immigration laws.
• Detect and question individuals suspected of violations; inspect documents and possessions.
• Apprehend and interdict illegal entrants and smugglers using appropriate resources.
• Rotate through duty locations and complete required pre-employment steps.
