Qualifications

• Specialized law enforcement experience including interpreting/enforcing immigration laws and investigating smuggling operations.
• Must be proficient in English; background investigation and drug testing requirements apply.
• Firearms qualification and safety requirements are applicable for this occupation.
• Misdemeanor domestic violence restrictions and other eligibility rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Protect borders and prevent illegal entry by land, air, or sea.
• Apprehend aliens and smugglers; conduct surveillance and inspections.
• Maintain readiness for rotating shifts, overtime, and travel as required.
