Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to act as the Technical Authority for Balance of Plant mechanical systems supporting compressor and meter stations. The role drives engineering standards, governance, and continuous improvement across North America.

You will provide Tier3 support, lead asset strategies, and partner with Operations to optimize reliability, risk management, and lifecycle performance in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in gas facilities or related energy infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CFR192, CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, ASME Section VIII and API standards.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and governing engineering standards and procedures.
• Strong collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups across North America.

Responsibilities

• Serve as TC Energy's Technical Authority for BOP mechanical systems and equipment.
• Provide Tier3 engineering support for complex technical issues and asset performance concerns.
• Lead or support development of asset management and maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and operations to improve reliability and compliance.
