Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a senior engineering SME for Balance of Plant (BOP) within FR&I Engineering Services. You will own mechanical standards, provide Tier 3 support, and shape asset management strategies for gas facilities across North America.

The role demands 15+ years in gas facilities, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to influence across diverse teams. Hybrid work and field collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in gas facilities or related infra.
• In-depth knowledge of CFR 192, CSA Z662, ASME B31.3/8, API standards.
• Experience with reliability, maintenance optimization, and risk-based decision making.
• Ability to govern standards, specifications, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Authority for BOP mechanical systems and equipment.
• Provide Tier 3 engineering support to Operations Engineering on complex issues.
• Develop asset management and maintenance strategies for reliability and lifecycle performance.
• Lead design reviews, technical assessments, and project SME input.
