Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is partnering with an established technology services company in Midtown Manhattan to identify a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a hybrid role.

This position handles daily transactions, A/P, A/R, and closings, with initial onsite work and ongoing in-office 2 days per week plus monthly staff meetings. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) with match, PTO and sick time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience with stable tenure.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with general ledger functions, A/P, A/R, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills; proactive communicator.
• Commute to Midtown; able to pass background check and NDA; 18+
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for two companies in QuickBooks Online.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Enter A/P invoices, categorize charges and pay on time.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoice clients.
• Process intercompany transactions and employee reimbursements.
• Compute and remit sales tax and other state obligations.
• Prepare regular QuickBooks Online backup reports.
