Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper (Full-Charge) in Houston, TX, onsite. You will own day-to-day accounting across multiple entities and drive the ERP transition while partnering with the team in a hands-on, small-company environment.

The role requires 5+ years of bookkeeping, strong Excel skills, and experience working with CPAs. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 with full benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or full-charge bookkeeping experience.
• Strong AP/AR, collections, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with external CPAs and auditors.
• ERP software experience, preferably Odoo.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on collections activities.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financials and assist with month-end close.
• Coordinate with external CPAs on reporting and tax matters.
• Support ERP transition across four entities.
• Provide occasional admin/customer service support.
