Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote products, and navigate the payer environment. The role involves delivering on our commitment to patients and implementing marketing strategy under the District Manager’s guidance.

Responsibilities include knowledge transfer, sales leadership, account management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. We offer flexible work models and comprehensive rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including: customizing discussions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with other colleagues to share best practices and learn as a Senior Specialty Representative
