Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Bond Director to coordinate the District’s 2024 $490M bond, aligning scope, schedule, and budget across schools, departments, and external partners. The role requires reporting to the COO and CFO, presenting to leadership, and delivering regular status updates on program progress, risks, and financial position.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or finance, with 3–5 years of capital program leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Experience in district bond programs and capital projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular status reports and briefings on program progress, risks, and decisions.
• Present budget position and strategic recommendations to Cabinet and Board/Audiences.
• Coordinate with bond oversight committee to ensure accountability and transparency in bond funds.
