Job summary

Superior Central Boiler, located in Wall Township, NJ, seeks a field service technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial boiler systems across the tri-state area.

You will manage field service routes, ensuring safety, compliance, and high client satisfaction with strong support from a technician-first culture. Travel is required; on-site work with varied equipment awaits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or a specialized mechanical field.
• Ability to read complex electrical ladders and piping diagrams.
• Ability to independently manage field service routes while maintaining technical standards.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive installations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on boiler systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance including open, clean, and close procedures and refractory repairs.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients to deliver field service excellence.
• Program and commission combustion controls from brands like Fireye, Siemens, and Honeywell.
