Job summary

Superior Central Boiler is seeking a Service Technician to lead field service for commercial and industrial boiler systems across the tri-state area. You will perform installs, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting while owning field routes and ensuring safety and high-quality service.

The role emphasizes technician-first support and on-site problem solving. The position requires a valid driver's license, boiler/HVAC/technical background, and the ability to read complex diagrams.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid driver's license.
• Background in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or related mechanical field.
• Ability to read complex electrical ladders and piping diagrams.
• Ability to independently manage field service routes with high technical standards.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on boiler systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic.
• Execute mechanical maintenance including open/close procedures and refractory repairs.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients and deliver exceptional field service.
• Program and commission combustion management systems (Fireye, Siemens, Honeywell).
