Job summary
Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair boiler equipment in the field across the Delanco, NJ area. The role requires diagnosing hydronic systems, performing installations, and leading on-site troubleshooting for customers in a hybrid travel schedule.
You will perform combustion analysis, diagnose PLC faults, replace defective parts, and provide preventive maintenance for packaged boiler systems.
Qualifications
- Experience with boilers and related systems in field service.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair hydronic systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing/mechanical codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair boilers and field equipment in customer sites.
- Diagnose and service hydronic/boiler systems; perform installations as needed.
- Conduct combustion analysis for efficiency and compliance.
- Troubleshoot PLC programs to identify faults and guide repair.
- Lead machinery trouble-shooting and document repairs performed.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components.
- Provide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for packaged boiler systems.
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment for repair or replacement.
- Ensure work adheres to plumbing and mechanical codes.
