Job summary

CyberCoders in Las Vegas seeks a Sr. Field Service Technician to support startup, maintenance, and repair of boiler and thermal fluid systems on customer sites. You will troubleshoot, commission, and train customers and internal teams.

This field-based role requires strong problem-solving, independence, and extensive hands-on boiler experience across firetube, watertube, and related equipment, with focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience servicing industrial boilers, thermal fluid heaters, or steam generation systems.
• Strong working knowledge of boiler types and systems, including firetube boilers, watertube boilers, thermal fluid heaters, and hydronic systems.
• Experience with burner management systems (BMS), combustion controls, flame safeguard systems, and fuel trains is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot combustion issues, including air to fuel ratio, flame stability, ignition systems, and emissions-related performance.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems, including PLC-based controls, HMIs, and basic SCADA interfaces is a plus.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including pumps, heat exchangers, valves, actuators, instrumentation, and control loops.
• Experience with boiler startup procedures, system commissioning, and performance tuning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to pressure systems, temperature control, flow systems, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with water treatment systems and understanding of scale, corrosion, and chemical feed systems is a plus.
