Job summary

LA Metro seeks a Senior Departmental Systems Analyst to implement, support, and maintain technology and systems for the Board of Directors. The role coordinates with the Office of Board Administration’s Board Systems, Development, and Infrastructure team and may include alternate work hours about five days per month.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, performance monitoring, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• Three years of relevant systems analysis or programming experience.
• CA Class C driver license or ability to use alternative transportation.

Responsibilities

• Research functional areas to determine information systems needs.
• Performs requirements analyses, feasibility studies, and prepares project proposals for development/maintenance of an information system.
• Designs technical systems specifications.
• Evaluates systems to ensure requirements are satisfied.
• Monitors systems performance and responds to emergencies.
• Prepares cost/benefit analyses and justifications for systems products/services.
• Oversees, trains, and motivates assigned staff.
