Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in related field.
• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or related.

Responsibilities

• Embedded development and verification of safety-critical software for aircraft battery management system (BMS).
• Develop and integrate battery controls and low-level drivers for microcontrollers.
• Comply with DO-178C; decompose requirements with system engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to certify complex hardware/software systems.
• Implement fault detection and diagnostic algorithms for hardware events.
• Apply DSP and filtering to sensor data for state estimation and protection functions.
• Assist in board bring-up and debugging of new BMS hardware designs.
• Document streamlined software development and verification processes for DO-178C.
• Foster team collaboration and personal development.
