Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in mechanical, electrical, or BMS/controls for multiple campuses. The role ensures continuous, reliable operations of critical environments, supporting design evaluation, site acceptance, audits, and technology evaluation.

Travel up to 30% may be required. The candidate will mentor operations personnel, drive safety culture, and lead performance improvements across utility usage, reliability, and incident response for data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and contract documents to provide an operational view for mechanical, electrical, or BMS/Controls standards.
• Provide input on capital projects to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure.
• Support training and development of operations personnel across sites.
• Lead incident analyses, root cause investigations, and reporting after events.
• Develop and maintain Runbooks, incident management, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide technical oversight for complex evolutions and vendor interactions.
