Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to perform master systems integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and create user interfaces per project specs and sales proposals. You will support installation teams on-site and remotely, perform field startup and commissioning, and ensure systems operate per design.

The role involves programming control applications, system checkout, diagnostics, and reporting findings to the project team. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience solving moderately complex problems using established procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site commissioning, testing and validation of control applications.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to the Project team.
