Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a senior Biomedical Equipment Technician III responsible for advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, inspection and support of complex and high-risk medical equipment across the system.

The BMET III provides expert guidance, leads equipment implementations, collaborates with Clinical Engineering, vendors and clinical teams to ensure lifecycle management and reliability. On-call and after-hours support are included.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressively responsible biomedical equipment service experience.
• Independent support of complex medical equipment.
• Advanced troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Experience with regulatory and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and resolve complex high-risk medical equipment.
• Lead equipment installations, upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and share knowledge.
• Maintain service records and CMMS documentation.
